FOOD FEEDS OUR SOULS & FUELS OUR COMMUNITY
Each Sunday, after the program, we gather in the community room to celebrate our connection with each other. And, food is always a part of this ritual. We ask that 3-4 people each week bring something to share so we can have a bountiful table of goodies.
We also need people to help with setup and cleanup...both of which take minimal time and give the volunteers time to get to know more people in our CSA community.
WHAT DOES VOLUNTEERING ENTAIL?
Setup/Cleanup: Come to CSA at 9:30 and help to setup the food that is donated and put it out in the community room. Then, around Noon, help to clean up the community room by clearing all dishes and washing them. Wrap extra food and put in refrigerator. Victoria will be happy to show you how to do all this.
FOOD DONATION TIPS
What Kind Of Food Is Needed? Anything that is easy to eat. Muffins, cheese & crackers, cookies, chips & dip, fruits & vegetables, bagels & cream cheese, your favorite appetizer.
How Much Food Should I Bring? Bring food for 10 or more people please.
Should I Bring Food On A Platter? If you can, this is preferred. Be sure to mark your platter and collect it after the community room time.
