REV TIMOTHY LIN, SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR
Rev. Timothy Lin has a unique and eclectic background. He is an ordained priest/minister through a branch of the Holy Order of MANS, a non-denominational, non-sectarian mystic school. He has co-led spiritual communities in Denver, Chicago and New Haven, Connecticut. He also has over a decade of study in the Diamond Approach, a contemporary spiritual path that combines ancient spiritual wisdom and modern psychology, including study of the Enneagram with Sandra Maitri and Russ Hudson. Additionally, he is a certified trainer for SIY Global, a leading organization in emotional intelligence and mindfulness training.
As the founder of the Anxious Personality Framework, he serves as an anxiety coach and is the author of “The Anxious Personality: Dissolving the Hidden Components of Anxiety.” In addition, he is the editor of “Love Yourself for Everyone Else’s Sake” authored by Dr. Mark Abramson, director of the Stanford Medical School’s mindfulness-based programs. He also facilitates non-violent communication trainings and has led numerous retreats and workshops.
Rev. Timothy also has experience in the corporate business world working as vice president of new business for Performics, Publicis Media, leading teams in client presentations. For the same firm, he also worked in media and marketing, and he restructured business operations and led a 50-person staff to enhance efficiency and client delivery.
He lives with his family in Carmel Valley, so he already is imbedded in our larger community. His wife, Jaia, and their two children, Ayla and Elias, were here with us last Sunday when he spoke as were friends of the Lins and their children. It was delightful to have youngsters here again. We look forward to a bright new chapter for CSA filled with exciting possibilities under Rev. Timothy’s wise and compassionate leadership.

Dr. Bill Little, CSA Founder and
Spiritual Director Emeritus
|
Our beloved founder and Spiritual Director Dr. Bill Little retired Dec. 31, 2024. He transitioned into an Emeritus leadership role and continues to be a resource to our community by offering counseling and prayer treatment, teaching classes and speaking intermittently on Sundays.
Dr. Little holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Physics and served in the U.S. Navy at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California as a teacher of Mathematics and Physics. We're grateful that he was able to bring the scientific approach and integrate it with his ministerial degree from Religious Science International to facilitate nearly half a century of spiritual growth for our community. With his unwavering commitment to Truth, he has been a guiding light to our congregation, showing us the way to greater understanding of spiritual principles and practices and bringing us together in love and shared purpose. |
