"Living to 100 - Secrets of the Blue Zones" Dinner & Documentary Class
Using the Netflix documentary film “Living to 100 – Secrets of the Blue Zones” Maren Elwood, a visual anthropologist, will host this “dinner and documentary” class. People will be encouraged to bring a box dinner and we accomplish the following:
1) Watch an episode (there are 4) each session and then have a discussion period. Maybe, if we can, get a guest speaker during one or two of these weeks from the local Blue Zone project. I’ve reached out to the movie developer Dan Buettner about doing a talk. We’ll see.
2) Talk about how to integrate the learnings into the CSA culture and form teams to do so.
3) Fill out the “longevity questionnaire” during one session to see if we can improve the scores of each class member by the end of the class
4) Develop a presentation to the CSA community to be given as a Sunday Fun Day based on the learning during the 4 weeks.
4 Thursdays starting September 21 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Early registration is $90, After 9/14/23 $120
